straightto® provides software based solutions for many-to-one communications, enabling efficiency and relevance in direct communications between large constituency groups and high-profile target addressees.
Value Proposition
History
Combining strategy and technology, straightto® originated from an academic project at the Freie Universität Berlin which looked at how to effectively channel public opinion into new and more flexible forms.
Very quickly, this experiment morphed into a national phenomenon in Germany, as on October 3rd 2006, Germany’s national holiday, the installation of the straightto® platform allowed German citizens to directly communicate with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel. The introduction of straightto® has delivered a level of citizen-leader interaction that has proven unprecedented in Western democracies since its introduction, with hundreds of thousands of Germans receiving answers to their most important questions from Chancellor Merkel and other top politicians who have embraced the platform.
In 2009, buoyed by their success in many-to-one political communication, straightto® took the rare step of redesigning its platform for corporate use, to bring an unprecedented level of democratic dialogue to participating companies, while offering the ability to manage that dialogue in an orderly and productive fashion.
straightto® corporate systems are now deployed in several major European businesses, all of which have been successfully integrated with corporate IT and internal communications platforms.
